No shaking, sweaty hands allowed (unless in excitement.) You know who you are, you know what you know, and you have every attribute to speak to what you know.

Rock it, dud(ett)e. Can't make the meet, but you know, living on a sub-tropical island has its drawbacks(!)

That seems like an oddly specific group.

I've known plenty of Hispanics that could party all night with me Sunday and be in fine form for work on Monday, and that is how I judge people. So let me be the first to not just shake your virtual hand, but to give you a HIGH FIVE in front of everybody!

There are a lot of "oddly specific groups" out there.

I'm not Hispanic, so I'll have to stop by somewhere else.

Yeah, there are a lot of specific groups out there. This is just one of the ones we do some recruiting with. It is a pretty fun conference though. Lots of energy.

Yeah, I've seen that too. This conference isn't all about getting resumes out and doing interviews. The kids seem to have a good time in the evenings as well!

I was a rep on one of the engineering student councils while I was in school, part of what we did was approve giving clubs money.

The weirdest one I encounted was a club for HVAC engineers, a student group of a professional organization.

The fact that there's a professional organization for HVAC engineers isn't surprising, but the fact that there's a bunch of students that join because they want to be HVAC professionals? Surprising.

Ask me why I chose to be an engineer, I say 'because airplanes are awesome and I want to work on them!'. Ask an HVAC club member? 'AC units are cool!' Oh...okay...

Nice Convair 880. A fairly obscure airplane to post. I can't take credit for the ID, had to resort to the Googles. The narrow body, and 4 engines had me thinking 707, but didn't look long enough and the bump on the rear of the fuselage really threw me off.

Delta has a long history of flying some odd planes. That particular plane ended up as Elvis' private jet and can be found at Graceland.
